Headcanon : Amos has chronic pain
Amos lied down and felt an immense amount of relief as his back straightened out, relaxed, and supported by the mattress beneath.
Fred looked over at him and smiled. "Long day at the garage?"
"Yeah" Amos confirmed. "Back hurts"
"Sorry to hear that, champ"
"I'm used to it" the mechanic replied with a small shrug. "Just glad to be home and able to lie down"
Fred smiled as he walked over and lied down next to his boyfriend in the bed, wrapping an arm around him.
"I'm glad too"
