Chronology : Post-canon but Brooke + Morris never died
Everyone left set that night a bit shaken. How couldn't they? Sure, they never got along with each other all that well, but their director and three other actors had all been brutally murdered just to increase ratings. That was bound to fuck with any halfway sane person.
Brooke and Kaitlin were the last people left on set, as the new director needed to make sure everyone was out before locking up and she was Brooke's ride home.
"Are you alright, Brooke?" the redhead asked at one point. The camera tech looked up at her blankly. "You've been really quiet- More than usual"
"Four people got killed" Brooke replied with a halfhearted shrug. "I think it's reasonable to be a little bothered"
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
"It's dumb"
"It's not dumb" Kaitlin insisted. "I was only dismissing Morris' stresses earlier because we were on crunch time, but I don't actually think nothing of it" she explained. "Four people got murdered. I'd be concerned if you weren't at least a little upset"
"I don't know" Brooke sighed. "It's just weird. Oli was a weirdo but, y'know" she shrugged again. "I'm gonna miss having his nagging ass around. Same goes for Lily... And Bill... Hell, even Cybil"
"No more murders" Kaitlin promised. "We aren't gonna have to deal with any more murders"
"What if ratings drop again?"
"Then we can quit together" Kaitlin said without hesitation. Brooke smiled. "You ready to go home?"
"Very"
