Chronology : Post-Peter Pan Goes Wrong (BBC recording)
Chris was in deep shit.
Legal papers filled his desk. He was just glad that no one who'd gotten injured during the show had sued, but there were all sorts of other matters to sort out, the least of which being that the disastrous performance of Peter Pan that he directed had been broadcast on live television.
He felt so embarrassed. All- Or at least most of the mishaps had been completely avoidable, had he spent less time focused on the actors (though clearly that rehearsal time hadn't paid off anyway) and more on the complicated tech. More practice on the flight system. More careful attention to the flow of electricity. Double and triple-checking the function of big set pieces.
Annie and Trevor and Jonathan and Lucy and everyone else thankfully didn't seem to be permanently maimed in any horrific way, but they weren't in great sorts either.
Annie's memory had gotten slightly worse and she was now on watch for heart complications (electrocution and all that). Trevor had sustained an extremely mild concussion. Jonathan began to get headaches. Lucy healed but found that she now had chronic pain in both legs... It was kind of a mess.
"Goddammit, Chris" he muttered to himself as he looked over yet another legal paper. "Idiot..."
